To get there: from the port, just a two- to three-minute walk will take you to Hospedaje Clarissa. Simply follow the main road up from the port, passing the plaza and the local market. You will see signs indicating ‘Hospedaje Clarissa’ on your right. If you are lost, you can always ask one of the friendly locals.

Though a river divides this jungle town in two, there are no bridges here. All transport, including trucks, cars, buses, and motorcycles are transferred from one side of the river to the other via a ship crossing. It is truly a great spectacle to watch as the locals make their way over to the other side of town.
A beautiful private, natural reserve, perfect for resting among nature. Fishing tours are possible, as well as wildlife watching tours.
This town is separated in two by a small river. The two sides of the river have different characters: one of them is more hectic with a lot of people, traffic, bars and places to eat, whilst the other side is more peaceful. There are lots of small canoes by the port that will transport you to the other side of the river for 10 córdobas and the ride lasts about a minute.
